Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale

EPIC and neighboring block clubs annually conduct the Edgewater Yard Sale the first Saturday of June. In 2016, the 22nd annual sale was held on Saturday, June 4, and was conducted by eight block clubs – EPIC, BARGE Community Organization, Edgewater Beach Neighbors Association (EBNA), Edgewater Glen Association (EGA), Edgewater North Neighbors (ENN). North Edgewater Beach Association (NEBA), Northeast Organization of Neighbors (NEON) and TAHBS Citizens Council plus Edgewater Beach Apartments, the co-op at 5555 N. Sheridan. EPIC Annual Meeting
Each year in the Spring, the EPIC Block Club holds an annual meeting. It gives members and residents an opportunity to mingle with others, to learn what is happening in the neighborhood and to elect a new Executive Committee. The 2016 EPIC annual meeting was held at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5944 North Magnolia, Saturday, April 9.

EPIC Annual Spring-into-Summer Block Party
EPIC members and friends gather annually for a spring-into-summer block party. The 2016 potluck block party was held on Saturday, June 22, on Magnolia between Elmdale and Thorndale. Highlights were a jumping jack, fire engine and other activities for kids and beverages and barbecued grub for all courtesy of EPIC.

EPIC Annual Fall Potluck
In 2015 EPIC resumed its traditional fall potluck. Main dish and beverages were provided by EPIC and members contributed side dishes and desserts. This year’s potluck was held Saturday, October 8, at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5944 North Magnolia.
